Document anonymization: files
Supported formats: Doc, Docx, Xls, Xlsx, Pdf, Txt, Png, Tiff, Jpg, Jpeg, Msg, and Pptx.
Anonymizing your documents has never been easier with a platform like Nymiz, which allows you to process a large batch of documents at once—or simply a single file—in just minutes.
From handwritten or digital signatures to barcodes, QR codes, and much more, Nymiz lets you configure your anonymization options in detail, as well as choose the data substitution method, so you can achieve the desired results with just a few clicks.
The first step is to select one of the options available in the tool: Files, Free Text, Databases, or Batch Processing. Then, simply choose the procedure (Anonymization or Pseudonymization), the substitution method (Masking, Tokenization, or Substitution), and your preferred configuration to generate a newly anonymized document.
To better guide you through this process, below you’ll find a short video tutorial showing how to anonymize a document using the “Files” option.
It is important to note that the “Files” anonymization option is designed to quickly process a specific document. Since this is a fully synchronous process, any interruption during anonymization will require restarting the procedure.
IMPORTANT: When choosing between anonymization and pseudonymization, you must keep in mind that anonymization is an irreversible process. Once the data has been anonymized, it cannot be recovered.
